Jamilla Deville

When was the last time you really explored your body? Today's guest Jamilla Deville joins me in this episode to talk about our sexuality and how people interact with others and themselves through the wonderful art of dance. Jamilla was already a dancer and an aerialist when she discovered pole dancing and fell in love with the performance aspect. She opened her own pole studio in 2003 and never looked back. She and I talk about the unglamorous side of pole dancing, taboos associated with the art form, and the value of reinforcing adult playtime.

Jamilla is a pole fitness instructor with over two decades of experience in performance and instruction. Jamilla comes from a background in dance and aerial circus arts combined with years as a showgirl, and now she combines all of these with her more recent training in Crossfit to bring people back into the healthiest, fittest version of themselves.

Listen in to learn about the healing aspects of pole dancing and why women should be encouraged to explore their bodies and their sensuality.
